Hello, I hope you’re doing okay. How are you? Today I want you to take a moment to reflect on your relationships with the people around you. How intentional are you with the people you relate with? How much do you positively or negatively impact their lives?
How do they feel about you? I’ve learnt that it is very easy to take the people closest to you and those we relate with often, for granted.
We subconsciously get used to them and so we save the good (kind, generous, funny, thoughtful etc.) parts of ourselves for other people we’re less used to. We forget how important they are and how unpredictable life is, so that they could be here one day, and somewhere else the next.
After reflecting, I want you to take note of the areas you would like to improve on, and try to be more intentional in those relationships, and you’ll surely see a positive reaction in yourself and in those people.
Take care of yourself, and make sure you don’t only see the value of people when they’re no longer there.
