VSO Ireland appeal for Irish Community Development Workers for programme in Uganda
VSO is the world’s leading international development organisation that works through volunteers. VSO volunteers work in 24 countries on programmes in education, health, and livelihoods. VSO Ireland has launched a recruitment campaign for Irish volunteers with experience in community development and education to support a new programme in Karamoja, one of the most marginalised regions in Uganda. VSO is urgently looking for experienced community development workers to join their Irish Aid-funded education programme in the region. The programme is focused on helping more Ugandan girls go to school and tackling the societal norms that prevent them from getting the quality education they need to reach their full potential. If you are interested in finding out more about these roles, please visit www.vso.ie, email james.obrien@vso.ie or call James on 086 0674292.
