What is a social enterprise? Social enterprises are community-based businesses that sell goods or services to achieve a social, cultural or environmental purpose; they reinvest their profits in their social mission.
Have you got an idea for a social enterprise? Get started with some free training!
Mayo North East Leader Partnership Company and South West Mayo Development Company through An Cosán Virtual Community College and Carlow IT are offering a 10 week (1 day per week) fully funded training course in Social Enterprise Development (QQI Level 6). This course is available to anyone currently job seeking, in part time employment, or on an employment scheme (TUS/CE scheme).
