Matt Sheehan's Newsletter

Dear friends and colleagues,
What a week it’s been! Last Tuesday we published The Transpacific Experiment, and celebrated with a fantastic launch event in San Francisco with Asia Society Northern California. It was really great to meet so many readers of this newsletter and people in the community who are working to make this relationship productive for people in both places.
I wanted to take a moment to share some upcoming talks (including one tonight!), some nice kudos the book has received, and some recent interviews. But before all that…

One special request: reviews for the book on Amazon
The book has been out for a week now, and it’s been getting really fantastic responses from readers and media outlets. My publisher tells me that the single best thing we can do now to get more traction is to ensure that it has a good number of reviews on it’s Amazon page.
Those reviews help boost it’s visibility and credibility with folks browsing the site, meaning these stories and ideas get to reach a much wider audience. If you’ve had a chance to read a chunk of the book, it would mean a lot to me if you could spare a moment to give it a review on there.
Thanks so much for being a part of this project!

In the last edition of the newsletter two of the links were broken, so…
Here is the correct link to my latest analysis piece: Much Ado About Data: How China and the US Stack Up.
And below is the correct link to a nice review of the book in the San Francisco Chronicle.
