The climate issue 🌍🔥| On saving our planet

Today is no ordinary Friday. Today at noon, people worldwide protest for the future of our planet. What started with Greta Thunberg in Sweden turned into a global organization called Fridays For Future within just a few weeks and is now a worldwide momentum.
Fighting climate change is our single most important mission. Everything else is just circumstantial.
Now is still time to take action.
So I urge every one of you today to go on the streets and fight for our future. If you live in Hamburg, come to Jungfernstieg, where the march starts. If you’re from somewhere else, you can use this website to find the demonstration close to you. There is one planned in every bigger city, so there are no excuses.
That’s it for today.

Not sure why you should bother, because you think climate change will have no effect on your life? Then check out this interactive map that shows how rising sea levels will change our landscape. You can change by how much global temperature rises and see the map change accordingly. Because the Elbe is directly connected to the North Sea, most of Hamburgs surrounding will get affected. It’s not only distant islands or the Netherlands but maybe also your hard earned family home.
Newsletter recommendation
A newsletter that I’m subscribed to for a while now, always wanted to recommend and now have the perfect reason for to do so is Dense Discovery. Kai Brach features a broad range of links and thoughts on tech and design. A common theme for Kai’s newsletter is also sustainability.
Plus: He always has great illustrations and GIFs!
Oh and lastly about last weeks Apple Keynote
Nothing About the New iPhone Is ‘Good for the Planet’
That's it.
I will be back with a regular issue next week.
Until then: I hope to see you on the streets later today ✌️
