⏱ Rocking it Old School

Notes by Martine
Hello friend
Happy weekend.
This week I’ve been maximising my downtime by listening to books and podcasts (in between Pomodoro sessions).
Here’s what I’ve been listening to and how I’ve been timing my sprints 🍅

I devoured Make Time (audiobook version) over a couple of days. As soon as I’d finished it, I started again - it’s that good.
The book inspired me to try out an ‘old school’ timer for the Pomodoro technique rather than an app. It was fun and remarkably effective as I could put my phone in another room. The Time Timer clocks the authors recommend are expensive so I found a cheap alternative on Amazon UK and it works well (see below).
🧰 Old School Tool
This is the timer I have been using (if you cannot cope with going old school, get an app version here).
