Hello and Welcome Back,
March Madness is here and brackets are busted thanks to UMBC. Will Cinderella finally return to the ball?
Last week, as I was finalizing my brackets, Scott Brinker published his Martech Salary Survey. It is a revealing look at key trends in compensation and qualifications. I was surprised to see only 19% of respondents had a degree in computer science, IT or another engineering field. I was even more surprised to learn that 25% of respondents have degrees in liberal arts.
Some Amazon Prime Video data and trends were also revealed in a Reuters report. We got some insight into how Amazon evaluates its original content based on audience performance and how their content helps convert Prime Video subscribers into Prime shoppers. They call it first stream attribution.
Dig in, and enjoy. Good luck with your brackets!
-Frank
