Last week saw continued impact of the consequences of the general public finally catching word of a story that my readers have been following for more than a year: a venomous online presence of a consultant engaged by the Department of Canadian Heritage to lead a series of anti-racism workshops. We got results as described in this wire story
by The Canadian Press. More questions remain.
Later in the week, I confirmed on Twitter that Minister Hussen had information about the potentially embarrassing funding in mid-July, but took no action. I also wrote about the CRTC’s half million dollar funding of this organization and its consultant over the past 6 years.
