A few especially timely posts last week on very different policy issues: concern about diversity of views; spectrum policy; and, looking at a personal attack on the Chair of the CRTC that smacks of desperation.
In the first, I wonder how Canada’s planned legislation to address online harms will differentiate between illegal speech and speech that is merely offensive. In another post, I wonder if Canada’s latest spectrum policy consultation will lead to improved outcomes for consumers of fixed and mobile broadband, in both urban and rural environments. Lastly, I highlight how last week’s CNOC regulatory filing is premised on misquotes and mischaracterizations
