Grab a Coffee ☕️
As product designers, we talk a lot with users, stakeholders and developers. We ask questions, sketch ideas, create wireframes and design user interfaces. And sure, you can do all that yourself and start from scratch every time and do a lot of work. Or you can use the tools that are available to you. It’s often quicker and better that way.
So today you’ll get a few tool tips to make your daily work as a designer a little easier.

🎨 Creating color palettes
If you need colors for your UI project, you’ve come to the right place. Material Design’s color tool makes it super easy for you to choose the first and second color and see how they work together directly in the interface.
You can also immediately check the accessibility, which makes it really easy to design inclusive and decide on the right color combination.

🔠 Combining fonts
Fontjoy is the perfect tool to combine fonts quickly and easily. You can select three different fonts for heading, lead and body or have a combination generated automatically. You can specify how much the fonts differ from each other, from very similar to very different.

🖥 Animate your websites
Animations attract more attention and can emphasise your design in an incredible way. But the effort to create animations is usually high and often shied away from.
With LottieFiles, many animations are available to you for free and there are now many designers who have specialised in developing LottieFiles.
The best thing about it: LottieFiles have a much smaller data volume than PNGs or GIFs and therefore load faster.

❓Questioning users
User research is one of the most important steps when you start a new project. You can easily create surveys with Typeform. The online tool offers you many possibilities and the free version is often sufficient for a first, smaller survey.
