Spatial Awareness
Welcome to Spatial Awareness, a regular editorial focused on the maps and the spatial community. Each issue I’ll highlight the most interesting and inspiring things that I’ve found — cool demos, new tools, tutorials, beautiful maps, interviews, behind-the-scenes and more.

You may have noticed that there wasn’t a newsletter last week. The reason for this is that I’ve moved the newsletter to a bi-weekly schedule for the foreseeable future, mainly to give myself some breathing space and to ensure I can keep this going for a long time to come.
While I love putting together these issues, they do take a lot of time and effort and the weekly schedule meant that once an issue was finished I was pretty much already starting on the next. I’m hoping that with the bi-weekly approach I’ll have a bit more downtime between issues to focus on general life stuff outside of this newsletter and my day job.
Thank you again for all the messages and support — I do read them all, even if I’ve not had a chance to reply to you all yet. I’ll get to each of you eventually, which is part of the reason I’ve shifted to a more relaxed schedule so I have time to do that between issues.
So as always, sit back and join me on this periodic journey through the world of maps. And remember, you can unsubscribe at any point if you’re not finding this useful.
One last thing — you can reply directly to me via this email if you have content suggestions, questions, or just want to say hi. Lots of you have done this so far. Don’t be shy! 👋
