During the pandemic, we’ve all had a lot to deal with. It’s been a wild ride, and we’re all still figuring out how to get our life in order again.
But sometimes it’s important to take a step back, and time to reflect on what’s working and what’s not. And if you’ve been in the trenches for a while, you might need some time to recharge—if you haven’t already done so.
Recently I spent 14 days at a silent meditation retreat. It was the most challenging experience of my life, but it was also deeply rewarding. By the end of it, I knew that I was ready to move forward with my life in a new and more fulfilling direction. And don’t worry—I’m still going to be around! (I’ll tell you more about that next time.)
Thus, I’ve decided to devote this issue of the newsletter to the topic of sabbaticals, and I couldn’t imagine a better person to help us all learn about taking time off effectively than DJ DiDonna, founder of The Sabbatical Project.
This may seem like a difficult approach, but it is only meant to get you thinking about the possibilities.
This is an excellent website and DJ is teaching some really valuable information that everyone should know. I really hope you enjoy as you explore his work.
