Thursday Thoughts from an ADHDer - Issue #9

So this week I had a review of my medication. It’s not been long enough yet to decide it’s not for me so we have increased my dosage to 100mg and see what happens.

I am currently in Dublin at the moment meeting my amazing team! Well some of them. Sadly three members of the team couldn’t be here but the Europe contingent are together and I am very lucky to work with some amazing, supportive and talented people!

We have already been out for lunch twice, done an escape room on a boat and had dinner in a restaurant in a church so not bad!

This week we have a song decided between some of my amazing team and myself! Seemed a good anthem to our near “death” in the escape room. 😂

I’ve not watched many videos this week I must admit. Found myself binge watching the Harry Potter film series again. I forgot how good they are! Some are better than others of course but I have thoroughly enjoyed them and still have one to go!

Hearing the dialogue again however did remind me of this classic!

This week has had a few little milestones rather than one big one.

I survived the airport! After 2 years of not really going anywhere let alone an airport I am very proud of how I coped. Thankfully I was able to get a sunflower lanyard so I could fast track security and sit in a quiet room. Phew!

I also navigated a new city, kept on top of submitting my expenses and continued to rehearse the talks I am giving in one morning next week. Go me!! 🙌🏻

I also met lots of amazing people in person including my incredible team, some of the Twitch community I adore so much and other lovely people. I think after London next week I might need to take it easy mentally for a while as I will be drained, but this has been a fantastic week and I am smiling every day!
