Running a successful ad on Google is an evergreen process. Doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner or a seasoned advertiser. You will need to keep evolving in terms of targeting, ad copies, ideas, messaging, use cases & strategy. The resources I’ve shared are straight from Google, so you know you can rely on them.
In order to do that, you need to have your basics strong. This post will share free resources that further contain subjective resources to learn more about Google Ads.
  1. Google’s official guide: This guide will walk you through the basics of ads, mobile-friendly ads, optimizing the ads for best results, & best practices. You will further find other useful guides to create better ads. Keep an eye on the sidebar to find new resources, Google keeps adding valuable resources. Check out the guide here.
  2. Google Ads Help: A list of detailed explanations of the most common issues known to Google. The guides are divide into various categories. If you have any specific questions, you can post the question here. Furthermore, check out the community to find questions from other people to get solutions to your problems. In the announcement section, you will also find updates straight from Google to stay up to date.
  3. Primer app: A free app from Google to help you with snackable courses in form of cards. This app primarily focuses on overall online marketing and covers topics from a broad perspective. It’s available for iOS & Android. No ads, use it offline, resume from where you left off, stress-free.
  4. Google Skillshop: If you’re a freelancer or an agency owner and want credibility, Skillshop is the place. There are a plethora of courses you can take up and get certified. You can learn about the Google products & services which can help you show off your achievements. Which can further help you land clients or expand your business.
