I’ve got an update today. After starting and running this newsletter for the last 2 months, I’ve decided to close it down. Surprising, I know. Here’s why:
- Time - Publishing daily doesn’t leave much time for planning growth activities when you still have a day job
- Differentiation - There are of course several other curation sites out there (with another big one launching soon) and it’s hard to differentiate in any meaningful way
Neither of these are insurmountable (even combined), which leads to my third and main reason for the change:
- I’ve identified another opportunity somewhat within the personal finance space that I’m really excited about
I’m not ready to share details about it quite yet, but I will share more soon. This has been a fantastic learning experience and I’m grateful for everybody who’s read even one issue.
