Loyal readers,
My apologies for failing to send out a newsletter last week.
A lot happened the past two weeks. I was asked a week and a half ago to run a “secret” Bitcoin meeting here in Hong Kong by the sponsor in his absence. Next thing I know, I also offering up my office space for Bitcoin developers to hang out and adding words like 隔离见证 (Segregated Witness) to my Chinese vocabulary.  A couple days later, John Tsang, Hong Kong’s Financial Security is talking about blockchain in his budget speech.  Exciting times in the world of decentralization!
Here’s a sampling of what’s been going on:

Code the Road Bitcoin Roundtable Consensus
Fees Will Have To Increase To Hundreds Of Dollars Per Transaction If We Want To Keep Bitcoin Secure…
My view on the current situation of Bitcoin and the Blockchain
A VC's view of the Bitcoin ecosystem
Blockstack - Decentralized DNS for Blockchain Applications
Hong Kong
Hong Kong's 2016-17 Budget supports Blockchain
