Trouble in space. By now you may have heard about the Soyuz rocket carrying two astronauts (one Russian, one American) that did not make it to the International Space Station. Miraculously, the astronauts survived, but there are now big questions about the future of the Space Station itself. Soyuz is the only human-ferrying rocket available at this moment and it’s grounded pending an investigation. There’s a Soyuz module attached to the ISS to bring crew home, but then the ISS will be empty. And for how long?

You must see this. Boston Dynamic’s incredible Atlas robot is officially next level, and by that, I mean, it can run and jump to the next level. It’s a Parkour Robot. Boston Dynamics says it uses computer vision to hit its marks and jump up those 40-centimeter-high steps. No wires, no special effects, no human inside. Wow.

AI in Biz. I recently partnered up with Avanade and Blue Prism for a fascinating series of discussions on the role of AI in business or, as they call it, Robotic Process Automation. The big takeaway is that AI is already in the workplace, often working alongside the humans.
