Just breathe. How often do you think about the air you breathe? If you smell something, you might wonder if there’s something bad in the air, but otherwise, you just breath around 20,000 times a day and don’t worry about it. Time for higher prices? President Trump’s trade war has, up until now, spared most of our favorite gadgets, including the assembled-in-China iPhone, and that looks unlikely to change in the short term, but the increasingly popular Apple Watch and other wearable from companies like Fitbit might not be so lucky. The latest $200 billion of tariffs on Chinese goods apparently covers “transmission devices,” which oddly includes things like the Apple Watch. If this goes through, the Apple Watch, Fitbits and other gadgets could be more expensive this next holiday season.

Look to the sky. The cloud is becoming a sure-fire business for everyone who enters it. Amazon’s all but printing money from its S3 services, IBM’s cloud business just grew by 20% (year-over-year) and, in its latest earning report, Microsoft announced a staggering 93% growth in its cloud-based Azure business. Forget hardware, the money is now raining down from above (okay, not really since cloud computing is really just Internet-connect servers and data banks).
