BitGo SegWit Launch – BitGo for Business
As SegWit activates today on the Bitcoin network, we are happy to announce that BitGo is starting to roll out SegWit to all BitGo wallets. Our plan is to immediately launch with a few select customers while we observe production operation. Assuming it works as expected for a few days, we will release final versions of our SDK and begin rollout of SegWit to all BitGo wallets.

John McAfee Raises $2.4 Million to Expand Bitcoin Mining Operation - CoinDesk
The bitcoin mining firm led by cybersecurity entrepreneur John McAfee has raised $2.4 million in new funding.
The financing for MGT Capital came as a result of a 10 percent convertible note issued to a firm called UAHC Ventures LLC. The funding, according to statements, will be used to expand MGT’s bitcoin mining operations in the northwest US, where plentiful hydropower has attracted more than a few miners.

Ukraine Fears Second Ransomware Outbreak as Another Accounting Firm Got Hacked
Ukrainian authorities and businesses are on alert after a local security firm reported that another accounting software maker got hacked and its servers were being used to spread malware.
The incident is almost identical to how the NotPetya ransomware outbreak started on June 27, this year, when hackers breached Intellect Services’ servers and trojanized update packages for the M.E.Doc accounting software package, delivering at least three ransomware families on three different occasions (XData, NotPetya, and a WannaCry lookalike).
