March 3 - Issue #1 - View online
If you know me at all, you know I have a lot of interests (leadership, technology, travel, productivity, music, etc). This newsletter will be just some of my musings and curation of content from the week. It will be weekly, sometimes less, never more.

Welcome to my inaugural newsletter! Over the years, people have asked me to share to the world the different interests that I have (and man are there many). I’ve started and stopped blogging, I’m terrible at posting on social media … and yet I love sharing from what others have shared with me. I’ve been inspired by Terry Storch and Kevin Rose newsletters, so this is my attempt.
My goal is to do this consistently for the next 3-4 months and evaluate. I would love to hear your honest thoughts, so that I can make it better. Also, if you have a comment, specific question, anything you want to share with me or want me to share with others? Simply click reply and let me know … would love to hear from you! Thanks for joining me on this journey.

[TECH] My homescreen ...
I love my iPhone … I love my apps … I love beta testing apps. In fact, if you see the orange dots by the name of the app, those are all the ones I’m beta testing. All of these apps keep me productive (and distracted) … if you have any questions about any of them, reply to this email and ask, or if you want to download any of them, click on the image, and you can see links as well as descriptions of the apps.
#Protip: Turn off number badges on any app that you are going to ignore and only turn them on for what you want to bother you. I make sure my badges are zero'ed out before the end of the day. That’s what badges are for!
[VIDEO] Refugees and Religious Liberty
Andy Stanley's Message on Refugees
This is an important message to watch … not only for the topic, but watching just the brilliance of Andy navigating a hot topic that’s politically charged.
[LEADERSHIP] Thinking Next Steps ...
#echurchsummit = PushPay Conference
This quote has been rocking my world. How can we leverage one step that people have taken and help them take another? If someone is already in a small group (one step), could we create a pathway for them to serve (second step)? Would that yield more results that blasting it out at the weekend service? What would the impact be if we were able to strategically think about this for every area of engagement.

[TWEET] With Lent starting this week ...
"When we give up something, replace it with something beautiful. Removing weeds w/o planting something only produces more weeds later. #lent"
