A Big Thank You to Ann Shortell, Author of Celtic Knot!

I joined with a group of other Austenesque authors to raise money for’s Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund. Ann Shortell, @CelticKnotMcGee, took up my offer to name a minor character in my next book, “A Dutiful Son, ” a “Pride & Prejudice” variation, with a qualifying donation. She chose the name, Herbert Solway, so that name will be featured in my story. If you are not familiar with “Celtic Knot,” it is a fine historical mystery set in with a memorable young protagonist. You can find it here:

Accusing Mr. Darcy is a Chanticleer Book Awards Finalist!
“Accusing Mr. Darcy” has been named as a finalist in Chanticleer Book Award’s Mystery & Mayhem 2021 Awards! This is a particular honor since I consider “Accusing Mr. Darcy” to be a romance first and a mystery second. For more information, and to see all of the finalists:

Featured Review: India Dymond by K.D. McNiven
India Dymond, by K.D. McNiven, @kady54033, features one of the fiercest and bravest heroines I have read about in a long while. Instead of relying upon the men around her to keep her safe, she is more likely to be the one to have to step in and save them! This book features surprises and non-stop action. Here is my Goodreads review:

Half Moon Bay, CA
With my daughter home for spring break, we traveled to the nearby coastal town to Half Moon Bay, a dog-friendly spot popular with artists. They have several beaches, a variety of restaurants, and cute shops. Zoey and Lacey give it two paws up!
