It was a full moon🌝yesterday, which was my reminder to release and let go. All week, I have been re-evaluating and re-focusing my energy in my personal life and business. This has looked like organizing my house; throwing out clutter; closing my Self Care for Busy People FB group; focusing on offering virtual micro- retreats (see below!) and getting in bed earlier than usual. I am learning that release is a very natural part of life. We constantly have to let go and make space in order to take in new things. No guilt. No shame.
Sometimes self care looks like subtraction. Sometimes self care looks like saying no. Sometimes it looks like delegating. The great thing is that release can be beneficial to someone else. If you take something off your plate, it might allow someone else to eat. Letting something go might be an opportunity or resource that someone else needs. Also, having too much on your plate–can literally make you feel unwell. Let’s shift that and start releasing things with love and redistributing while we are at it.
Embrace that Let it Go energy (even sing the song from Frozen that my daughter has made me listen to a million times for extra inspiration lol!).
