Hey friends!
This week, I had a really special moment.
For several years now, I’ve been very fond of an online tool that allows nearly anyone to design flexible, responsive websites. In my digital freelance business, I use it for every client website I build.
The other day, a friend of mine who’s in university messaged me. She told me that she was on my website, read what I have on there about this platform and after clicking through, she spent hours and hours, absolutely captivated by this platform.
That was such a wonderful thing to hear. For me to be able to introduce people to new tools that can inspire new projects & ideas, and give them a way to make it possible.
More information on that particular tool below.

What I've been up to
🎙 Yet another episode of the podcast, this week looking at ‘career change’ and how one debt collector - turned filmmaker - made it okay with changing directions, even at 40 years old. Listen
🎟 Recently, a good friend of mine, Shil Shanghavi, launched an exciting new project to 100 guests at the Pan Pacific, bringing public speaking and VR together. It was a great night. Find out more
📱 Finally, I made the decision to upgrade my iPhone 6. The iPhone 11, so far, is the most well designed & most enjoyable to use piece of tech I’ve ever had my hands on. Check it
What I've been curious about
💻 So…that web design platform. Introducing Webflow. They are all about “breaking the code barrier”, but not forcing you to rely on templates or hiring developers to make your website dreams a reality. Curious? (This is an affliate link that gives me a small kickback if you fall in love with Webflow…)
📘 Fellow student educator & a long time mentor of mine, David Castelanelli, has just launched his new book! If you’re a student (or parent/teacher of students), this book is a powerful tool for not just improved study, but better life habits. Oh, and it’s free.
💰 Finally, I’ve recently changed banks. Why should I care, Kai? Well, I just so happened to change to a bank that has the BEST tech, human-driven mission & dedication to customers that I’ve heard of. Up Bank is mobile based, has a bright orange debit card & is actually a well designed bank app…Read more about it below, and get $10 when you sign up!

As I always say, curiosity is a conversation, not a monologue. It’s your turn! Hit reply. I’d love to hear what you’ve been working on.
Cheers. Have a great weekend!
