There are plenty of tips out there on how you could train your employees to setup their social media profiles, but there’s so much fluff when it comes to ‘growing’ the Twitter following. In this article, I’ve outlined some of the simple yet easily actionable strategies on how you could train your team to better engage on Twitter as well as some of the most fundamental principles on how to grow their audience and in turn, how they could leverage those audience in building the company’s brand.
Many companies often fail in capitalising one of the most powerful and impactful resources readily available to them - their employees.
Instead of guiding them to become the brand’s voice, many companies often restrain their employees from being on social media. One of the companies that took a different approach was Adobe.
By providing their employees with global training and guidelines on proper netiquette, they’ve multiplied the scale of the results that any traditional marketing efforts by allowing and encouraging their employees to blog, participate in Glassdoor reviews and ultimately become the brand’s ambassadors.
