UX Weekly: Issue #27

We had a great discussion in the office this week about the dreaded (ok, maybe it’s not that bad…) home page carousel. The ‘to carousel or not to carousel’ conversation comes up on nearly every large web redesign we work on. Our advice is almost always to avoid carousels or at least approach them with caution. We’re working on some internal research and best-practice advice that I hope to publish soon, in the meantime I’ve included a few relevant articles in this week’s newsletter. I’ve also included some posts about form design that I think are important and relevant across the board (websites, mobile applications, enterprise software, etc.). Enjoy and have a great weekend!
