Issue #26: UX myths and getting started with research

Earlier this week I spoke at a Ladies That UX LDNT meetup about how (just enough) research was used to inform the design of our new site. The message I wanted everyone to remember was that research doesn’t need to be drawn-out and complex and that simply trying is the first step. In this week’s newsletter I’ve included a few posts on how to get started with research preceded by two articles on UX myths (research is a great way to help dispel some of these myths).
Enjoy, and have a great weekend!

It’s my goal to make sure you don’t see this section in the newsletter that often, but we just launched the new Res site and I’m incredibly proud of the entire team behind it. Awesome job Diana, Brian, Chantel, Justine, Marilia, and Stephanie.
Our new site better reflects our focus on UX research and design.
