By Jonathan Kochis • Issue #17 • View online
Happy Friday all! We’re wrapping-up a mobile application prototype project over the next week or so and onboarding was something we recommended and designed. In this issue I thought I’d share a few useful posts on onboarding along with an in-depth comparison of card and list design patterns. Also, UX Talks 002 has been scheduled for November 8th – save the date!

Onboarding is all about setting your customers up for success. As mentioned in the first post, this includes selling new users on existing features and existing users on new features – onboarding isn’t just a set of instructions.

UX Talks Event Update
I’ll have more information soon (including an event website and some exciting sponsorship news) but the second UX Talks event has been confirmed for November 8th 2016.
In the meantime, here are two recorded talks from the first event:
'Why Research?' by Brian Frank
'UX: A Talk About Feelings' by Jonathan Kochis
