Welcome to YKC. I’m in Israel until August 4th. If you’re around to catch up shoot me a note on Whatsapp or Messenger; I’ll be in the Tel Aviv area the rest of my time here. 🇮🇱🌴😎

The Obstacle is the Way: The Timeless Art of Turning Trials into Triumph by Ryan Holiday: I’m a big fan of Ryan’s work and wanted to revisit his first work as his new book, Perennial Seller, just came out. I read this book during a difficult time (and while the book was slow at times) it really did offer me a good perspective on the changes going on in my life. This post from his site; The Business of Running while not new, is spot on and so relevant in these times.
-My friends Jessica and Gali are hosting a party this evening to benefit the Keep Olim in Israel Movement here in Tel Aviv at the Patio Bar. It will be a mixed International and Israelis crowd ages 25-45. To join the Facebook event page invite click here. Looking forward to seeing you there, make sure to use the YKC discount code by purchasing your tickets here.
-Event Invitation: Panel Discussion on Corporate Innovation July 20, 06:00 PM at SAP’s NY offices. Corporate entrepreneurship is a hot topic these days. Maintaining a rigorous innovative spirit is critical for established firms to remain competitive. Yet despite all the talk, many companies often fall short of delivering on this promise. This challenge can sometimes be compounded when American subsidiaries of foreign firms are disconnected from their corporate headquarters. This panel discussion features senior level innovation experts from leading multinational firms that have cracked the code; they will share their experiences, insights and best practices. For more info click here.
-Israel Innovation Visa Opportunity: My friends at IniTech have been chosen by the Israel Innovation Authority to be one of the 12 Landing Pads for foreign entrepreneurs: as part of the Innovation Visas program; an entrepreneur may reside in Israel for a period of up to 24 months, during which time he/she may submit a request to the Israel Innovation Authority’s “Tnufa” support program. They are working on an incubator initiative in order to bring the brightest entrepreneurs in the areas of AI, VR, and blockchain technologies to join the Israeli ecosystem.
