Happy holidays {{first_name}} … to you and your family. As we’re entering auto-respond mode we’ll keep it short so check out my latest article in ISRAEL21c: The Israeli role in NYC’s rise as world’s fintech center.

These Science-Based Tips Will Help You to Actually Keep Your New Year’s Resolutions: I debated writing a year end recap, but as many people are already in ‘vacation mode’ (at least mentally) I figured I’d share what has worked best for me when it comes to habit building. I will state that you don’t need to wait until January 1st to start changing your life for the better, start today.
As a self-professed self-development nerd I am always looking for “hacks” on the edges to improve aspects of my life. I’ve never been one who can focus if I don’t find something engaging so if I was going to suggest one massive change which will improve your life it is to limit your smartphone usage. If you want to take it one step further erase Instagram from your phone (I’m not there yet); I’d predict your state of happiness would increase dramatically.
It’s hard to go cold turkey so the framework I’ve used (including writing this newsletter consistently for over 3 years) is breaking down every task/action into the smallest part and just focusing on and executing that. Small actions will add up for you in 2020 making it your best year ever.
Life backs for 2020:
⚪️ Momentum from the second you wake up: This hack really sets my day, putting the alarm on the other side of the bedroom so that I need to get up and shut it off. You’ll be up already and won’t hit the snooze button.
⚪️ Plan your day the evening before: Whatever plan you use, know that during the busyness of the day when you don’t know what is the most important thing to do you can always refer back to your plan from the day before and do the next task.
⚪️ Actions cures all: Even when I really don’t feel like doing something, taking that small step towards my goal makes me feel better and sets in motion that unstoppable momentum.
