Welcome back! I am Jay Gordon and every week I try to bring you the latest updates from around the DevOps on Azure community. If you have a post you’d like to have me include, I am always listening. You can reach out on Twitter or LinkedIn and I will be sure to share your latest post with the community. Also, be sure to tag your posts with #AzureDevOps!
Welcome to the month of December! It’s that time of the year that keeps so many people in DevOps on their toes with managing websites and apps dedicated to the major retail days. Black Friday and Cyber Monday require teams to plan on how traffic will impact performance for our customers. There’s a lot of planning teams can do beforehand around understanding the resources allocated to your apps and evaluating how those may need to be scaled. I hope you faired well this shopping season during these high traffic days!
Want to learn how you can deploy serverless containers using Azure Container Apps and Pulumi? You can join Pulumi’s Matt Stratton and myself for a Microsoft Reactor session virtually on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM EST. We will walk you through how Azure Container Apps work, why you might find them awesome, and how you can use Pulumi to build, deploy and manage your applications using your favorite programming language. You can click here to register for free to attend this online workshop on automation and containers.
I always appreciate the contributions of our community and just want to thank you all as always for what you share. Without your blog posts and videos, I can’t do this weekly news update. If you keep posting them, I will be sure to share them. That being said, let’s get into this week’s posts, we’ve got great updates about testing. Azure Data Factory, retrieving deleted git branches, and Bicep.
In his third post in a series for CyberResRohit Baryha shares a DevSecOps solution that can be integrated with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline.
Christopher Schmidt continues his series on using Azure DevOps Pipelines with Azure Data Factory.
