Take The Doge Pill

It's ALL Risky
It's ALL Risky
Hello everyone,
Elon’s push for free speech on Twitter is opening up new conversations on the platform.
This past week, he investigated how corporations and elites use their power to suppress information.
At the same time, he is reforming Twitter, which has the potential to bring a level financial playing field to the masses.
Let’s take a look at Elon’s exploration of forbidden topics, and how he could use Twitter to Doge Pill the world…

Red, Black, and White
In May 2020, during the early chaotic months of the pandemic, with much of the world under lockdown and speculation swirling about the true nature of the virus, Elon tweeted “Take the red pill” with a red rose emoji.
The phrase comes from a famous scene in The Matrix when Morpheus offers Neo the choice to see the truth of his existence.
You take the blue pill, the story ends. You wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to. You take the red pill, you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes. Remember, all I’m offering is the truth. Nothing more.
On the internet, the red pill has become a meme signifying awakening to various shocking and unpleasant realities, especially the ways that elites manage world affairs behind the scenes.
To be sure, some red pills are made up. But others are real.

Since the Twitter buyout was announced, Elon has been using the platform to dish out red pills in full public view of his 90+ million followers.
He started with the Coke tweet, a reminder that corporations have never had a problem addicting the population to poisonous substances if it’s profitable.

Next, he took aim at big pharma, warning that Adderall was an “anger amplifier” which should be avoided “at all costs” and that Wellbutrin “should be taken off the market” because of its suicide risk.
These early salvos turned out to be prelude to last Monday’s fireworks, when he criticized NBC for covering up stories about Harvey Weinstein, Matt Lauer, and Hunter Biden’s laptop.
Then, he upped the ante even further by questioning why none of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell’s clients have been brought to justice.
Elon Musk
@RationalEtienne @tomselliott @mehdirhasan Where is their “client” list? Shouldn’t at least one of them go down!?
On Tuesday, he put the spotlight on a campaign by two dozen groups to pressure advertisers into leaving Twitter unless it maintains its existing censorship policies, asking, “Who funds these organizations that want to control your access to information? Let’s investigate…” before adding, “Sunlight is the best disinfectant.”
When a user floated the idea that controversial financier George Soros was behind the campaign, Elon said “I will call him and ask” and hilariously tweeted at Soros to message him.
On Wednesday, he answered his own question by posting a Daily Mail article linking the anti-speech campaign to dark money groups like “George Soros’s Open Society Foundation; NGOs founded by former Clinton and Obama administration staffers; wealthy Democrat donors and their family foundations; labor unions; and the governments of European nations.”
He also tweeted about the Freemasons, a secret society many believe to play a secret role in world events such as the creation of the U.S. Constitution.

Right now, Elon is showing Twitter’s utility as a global town square that lets the people demand accountability from the ruling class.
In some cases, he’s using the platform to conduct a public, transparent investigation about how elites operate in the world.
When his subjects are on Twitter, as in the case of Bill Gates or Soros, he confronts them directly.
Their failure to respond says a lot.
Elon has repeatedly called Gates' motives into question, while Gates told an interviewer, "There is no need for him to be nice to me."
Elon has repeatedly called Gates' motives into question, while Gates told an interviewer, "There is no need for him to be nice to me."
During normal times, most people instinctively avoid pursuing these ‘red pill’ lines of inquiry for good reason: they can lead to some pretty dark places.
In recent years, however, questions about elite power have grown harder to ignore, as a few highly centralized and unaccountable institutions like the WHO, IMF, and WEF exercise greater control over the world.
Speculating about elite corruption is no longer a theoretical exercise—it has practical implications for everyone at the gas pump and grocery store. The people are lucky to have Elon on the case!
When confronting this kind of information, folks have a choice about how to receive it.
One option is despair, known as taking the black pill.
To take the black pill is to see the power of elites as insurmountable, and conclude that civilization is headed somewhere bad no matter what people do.
But is that really true?
The opposite of the black pill is the white pill—a total surrender to optimism.
To be white-pilled is to recognize that the fight between good and evil is real, but also that good’s victory is inevitable. If the universe is conspiring, it is conspiring in the direction of hope, not doom.
The practical effects of white-pilled positive thinking are remarkable and well documented.
In one BMJ study, a group of people prayed for the full recovery for a random list of hospital patients with blood infection.
Patients who were prayed for had significantly better outcomes than those who weren’t.
Amazingly, the prayers were praying for people who’d been in the hospital 4-10 before the study.
Prayer worked retroactively. Wow!
If retroactive prayer can influence reality, what other effects can positive thinking have on the world?
The Doge Pill
The Doge Pill is a variation of the white pill: a better world is inevitable, and part of the reason is Dogecoin.
At a fundamental level, Doge is about fixing our money with positivity, comedy, blockchain, and memes.
Elites have long used money and the financial system to control the population through debt, inflation, and other pernicious practices.
The Freemason’s Eye of Providence is literally on the dollar bill along with the phrase “New World Order”!

Over the last two years, unelected central bankers destroyed the value of the dollar through money printing, which disproportionately hurts poorer Americans by causing the price of essentials like gas, food, and housing to skyrocket.
In the past few months, they’ve made weak gestures toward fixing this self-caused inflationary disaster by raising interest rates, which has pushed the American economy toward recession even as prices continue to rise.
Dogecoin is an opt-out to this exploitative loop, allowing people to take part in a fairer, more hilarious monetary system.
People have the power to decide for themselves what counts as money—even dog-meme cryptocurrencies!
Although it's based on a joke, Dogecoin's fixed issuance schedule makes it the perfect solution to manipulated fiat currencies.
Although it's based on a joke, Dogecoin's fixed issuance schedule makes it the perfect solution to manipulated fiat currencies.
When they first encounter it, most folks think Dogecoin is a joke.
The cosmic irony is that Doge is a joke, but the joke’s on the haters and doubters that think Doge isn’t real money, including all the bankers and apparatchiks who want to keep people stuck in the government-fiat system.
In one interview, Elon said that even though it was created as a joke, Dogecoin as a transactional currency is “fundamentally better than anything else I’ve seen, just by accident.”
What are the odds??
On SNL, Elon told Michael Che that Dogecoin is as real as the dollar.

It is still early days in the Dogecoin revolution, but the list of businesses that recognize Doge as money is growing rapidly: Tesla, AMC, The Dallas Mavericks, the Oakland A’s, and the San Jose Sharks all take Doge, as well as a raft of travel agencies, hotels, and other service providers.
Just last week, Ice Cube’s Big3 accepted Dogecoin for payment to buy a basketball team, while Gucci announced it’ll accept Doge at all US stores by the end of this summer!

Doge’s most exciting use case is as the future currency of the Internet.
At its best, the Internet can unite people across boundaries, allowing the whole of humanity to stand up against its exploiters. The web allows for power in numbers that wouldn’t otherwise be possible.
Right now, people can use the internet to exchange ideas somewhat freely, but most payments are still made in fiat through third parties, who invariably take a cut.
Doge allows people to exchange real value over the Internet without intermediaries.
Dogecoin could ultimately form the basis for a pure Internet economy founded on fair and transparent rules, with no room for exploitative middlemen.
Doge embodies the ethos of the early, pre-corporate web: ironic, anti-establishment, decentralized, and max fun.
It restores this spirit by pranking elites through the creation of a people’s currency backed by dog memes rather than debt.
Dogecoin, and crypto more generally, is a peaceful revolution against the exploitative monetary/banking system.

In this Dogely cosmology, Elon is Morpheus, waking up humanity to its power by dealing Doge pills in the form of dank memes.
The Federal Reserve is a private bank that decides America's monetary policy without meaningful public input, and can create money out of thin air.
The Federal Reserve is a private bank that decides America's monetary policy without meaningful public input, and can create money out of thin air.
Doge holds the promise of a future that is materially better than the present, but also happier and funnier.
With the world’s most exciting entrepreneur on the side of the DogeArmy, Dogecoin seems inevitable.
If it were just Elon, some skepticism might be warranted, but over the last year many other influential folks have woken up to the power of the Doge.
Taken!
A growing number of celebrities and public figures are exhibiting clear signs of having taken the Doge Pill.
Most people first heard about Dogecoin in early 2021 when it surged past a penny after thousands of retail investors used the Robinhood app to buy it.
Robinhood is believed to hold about 30% of the existing Dogecoin supply. Its CEO Vlad Tenev has staked his multi-billion-dollar business on Dogecoin’s success.
Vlad recently tweeted a thread about how Doge can become the currency of the Internet, one of the clearest examples yet of a public figure taking the Doge Pill.
Vlad has taken the Doge Pill, no doubt!
Vlad has taken the Doge Pill, no doubt!
Here are a few other people of interest who’ve given clues of being at least partly Doge-Pilled:
  • Mark Cuban uses Dogecoin to teach his son about cryptocurrency and his Mavs accept Doge for tickets
  • AI researcher Lexi Fridman regularly presses his podcast guests for their opinions about Doge
  • Snoop Dogg released a Shiba-themed music video for 2021’s Doge Day and has posted Doge images to his Instagram
  • Billionaire crypto exchange CEO CZ called Doge “the most successful and measurable joke in human history.”
  • Another exchange CEO, Sam Bankman-Fried, floated the idea of integrating Twitter with Doge and offered to help
  • Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, who own roughly 1% of all Bitcoin in existence, are strong Doge-backers
  • Ethereum creator Vitalik Buterin said he “loves the Doge,” is on the Dogecoin Foundation board, and has articulated his own vision for Dogecoin’s future
  • Tampa Bay Bucs teammates Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski put out separate crypto ads that both featured Dogecoin
  • Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov posted his country’s Dogecoin address to Twitter and called on the DogeArmy to support Ukraine against Russia
  • Entrepreneur Bill Lee backs the MyDoge Social Wallet and purchased the Aliens from Ice Cube with Dogecoin
  • Just this week, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos followed Dogecoin creator Billy Markus on Twitter
  • Amanda Cerny, Ice Cube, Paul Pierce, Mia Khalifa, Gene Simmons, Soulja Boy, Carole Baskin, Roger Ver, Charlie Lee, and MrBeast are other influential folks who’ve gone public with their support of Doge
Doge’s destiny as the Internet’s currency means that the DogeArmy’s ranks will swell in the coming years. The above list is just the start.
If Twitter turns into a hybrid social network/payment service, as recent rumors suggest, the DogeArmy could gain millions of new recruits overnight.
Only one question remains for the world’s leading trendsetter: Wen Doge Kanye?
The most entertaining outcome
The world is waking up to the abuses of powerful elites.
Nowhere is this more true than in the sphere of money and finance.
The people are not as powerless as they’ve been led to believe. On the contrary, we have the collective choice to opt out of the exploitative fiat currencies and into a fairer, funnier monetary system.
This takes a big leap of faith. Dog-meme cryptocurrencies aren’t what most people have in mind when it comes to sticking it to the man.
It helps to have someone with Elon’s vision leading the way.
Is the most entertaining outcome really the most likely?
