It was quite busy last week, or there was not that much that I saved to share in this e-mail update. Or both…
One thing was a presentations for a session on smart cities last Friday, putting a lens on now and in the future; the cities of things. Good to see the different presentations were in tune. I can share my slides here:

Continuing stories
This continues on the thoughts about the future of our home. What defines a home? A certain feeling. Belonging. Etc.

Maybe interesting to share some of the podcast I try not to miss instead. Scrolling through the Pocket Casts-app it turns out I have too many subscriptions maybe. Probably. But here a couple I frequently listen to.
Apart from more ‘entertaining’ ones like Eeuw van de Amateur and Yous & Yay, 99% invisible, Echt gebeurd, Geeky dingen, I like to listen to Recode Decode and the new Pivot. I stopped listening to The Daily every day as the political focus is not always a pleasure.
More the field of tech and society I like the Dutch Appels en Perenshow and Podcast over Media, Progressive Enhancement by Kars and Alper. De Technoloog and Onder Mediadoctoren, Bladendoktor, depending the topic. English podcasts I frequently listen are Chips with Everything by The Guardian, Internet of Things podcast by Stacey Higginbotham, A16z, Hello Internet, Let’s Fix Things and Charged.
Overall I like podcast that are conversations with people with more or less smart insights the best, more than the staged stories or one on one interviews. And overall it is clear the podcast hype is now reaching the audio overload point…
