Monthly environmental news round up by Laveesh Bhandari
Indicus Foundation

It has been a year since we started this newsletter and have received a tremendous response all through its evolution this past year. The subscription grew from an initial 20 odd friends and colleagues to more than 12,000 over this period. During this year, some key changes have occurred in India in cleaner energy, cleaner fuel, and an emerging consensus on the cleaner environment is gathering momentum in India. Many of the recommendations shared directly with the policymakers and also the legal fraternity, media, and civil society have been institutionalized. Of course, this is only the beginning and we hope that we are able to continue feeding rational opinion and systematic change through our research, papers, and outreach such as this newsletter.
As is occurring everywhere else, we now find that larger numbers are now reading and commenting on this outreach through social networks. And so this is the last old-style emailed newsletter, and also the first new one which will be shared through social networks.
Do follow Indicus Foundation or Laveesh Bhandari on LinkedIn or Twitter for more frequent feeds. Many thanks for your support and also criticism! Please email me at laveesh@indicus.org for any feedback.
Many Thanks
Laveesh
