Dear Hypercritics,
Our second poethon, Against War | The Sound of Poetry, has just ended, and we are still overwhelmed by the warm welcoming it has received for the second year in a row!
Here you have a few takeaways from the event:
  • 7 days of readings of songs lyrics, from March 15 to 21;
  • 140 readings from 30 countries, in 22 different languages, including Arabic, Japanese, Chinese, and Bengali. You can enjoy the whole collection on our social media (InstagramTwitter, and Facebook);
What we saw, thanks to the involvement of so many people, is a confirmation that songs are a form of poetry and a very popular one indeed!
Here you have a selection of the many videos we received.
