Hermetic Library Newsletter - Issue #65 (Goodbye Library Cat Ereshkigal "Resh" Hypotenuse Pteropus!)

For some reason, since forever, the thumb for 3 of Swords on the Small Cards page had been wrong! Thanks to someone who noticed it and sent an email to let me know, at first I just corrected the thumb, but then I was thinking about it and decided to switch all the thumbs on that page to the larger card images also on that page.

I’m sure it may have seemed to make sense to use small images back in the day when everyone was on dialup and lower resolution monitors, maybe, but, here’s the thing, by having both thumbs and larger images all on the same page it wouldn’t save any bandwidth anyway! So, I’ve just switched it over. That should resolve the issue with the image being wrong and also probably make the page a little prettier and, even if not very perceptively on broadband but likely for people browsing slower than that, make it load a little quicker.

Also, I worked through the rest of the pages through the entire Thoth book and did a little cleaning up of some issues, since I was there.

I went through and added “id” anchors to each line in this comment on chapter I. For example, I.1. I’ll probably go through and add the others, and then update the other pages for each chapter split out with those as well. But, for those in the know (like you!), there’s hidden links available to a lot of the lines in Liber Legis and the various comments. Unfortunately, not all of them, which as this is an example, I add when I get to them!
