Covid-19 continues to impact all of us but businesses are opening up and a spirit of optimism is starting to gain momentum. Three weeks with no new cases! Please continue to social distance and do wear masks wherever you go. If not for yourself then for old, vulnerable people that you could kill by passing it on even when you don’t feel sick! There is going to be a 2nd wave and how strong it will be is dependent on how well we follow the guidelines.
In the digest, we are still focusing on funding and staffing assistance as well as sites that provide updated information and support and, of course on virtual events. Several organizations are now providing a wealth of information on how to “change” your business strategy in the new world. Check out the BDO site that we highlight this week.
If you have any events that should be included in our digest, please see the link at the end of the digest and pass them in.

Other Help Available to All and Upcoming Events:
Author H. Jackson Brown said: “Let perseverance be your engine and hope your fuel”. We have all faced innumerable challenges in the last 3 months and, with help from those around us, we are all learning how to cope with the new world and to hope for the future. We need to persevere and to help others as every one of us has suffered and we all need help. We all need to try our best to understand the issues that others face, show compassion to all who are suffering and have the courage to move forward and to respect the rights of all. The world is going to be permanently changed and we need to change with it if we are to succeed in life and in business! It is up to all of us to build a better world as we move forward!
It has been hard for all of us to concentrate on work and to actually get things done. We worry about ourselves, our families and friends and all those around us and we must all do what we can to help but it is also essential that we put effort into work and get the economy moving again so that employment will increase and we generate revenue. Coming out of these tragic events stronger than ever should be the goal for all of us.
