***“In every crisis, doubt or confusion, take the higher path - the path of compassion, courage, understanding and love.”― Amit Ray, Nonviolence: The Transforming Power
**Marie Curie said: “Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less.”
**Covid-19 has and will continue to change the world we live in. The racial issues that have now been so vividly demonstrated in many ways increases our anxiety and fear of what is going on and the future. We all need to try our best to understand the issues show compassion to all who are suffering and have the courage to move forward and to respect the rights of all. The world is going to be permanently changed and we need to change with it if we are to succeed in life and in business!
**From a work perspective, video conferencing, remote work, social distancing and other major changes that we now see in action are not going away. We have all suffered from anxiety due to the pandemic. As well many of us have also been hugely impacted by the recent senseless violence in our province and the heavy toll that the virus has taken on our seniors. the most vulnerable segment of our population. Now we have the added unrest that grows each day in the news. It has become hard for all of us to concentrate on work and to actually get things done. We are now seeing attempts to reopen business but also corresponding peaks in virus cases in those areas that are not taking essential measures to stop the spread seriously. The better we follow the guidelines (social distancing, washing, masks, etc.). The better we follow the guidelines the less impact the next wave will have! Stay smart people!
