Instead of Waiting their Turn to Speak- Issue #31

Education Hunt

February 16 · Issue #31 · View online
Hi, I'm Sam. I love technology, especially the kind I can use in class. In fact, I love technology even if it isn't for class. I keep a list of resources. They're hand-picked by me, Sam.

“When people think you’re dying, they really, really listen to you, instead of just…”
“Instead of just waiting for their turn to speak?” - Narrator and Marla
I’m guilty of it, waiting for my turn to speak. Not listening. It’s a nasty habit. I suppose it comes back to my inability to slow down sometimes. I’m working on it though. On the other end of the equation, we want people to listen. This week I found resources that’ll help with your Sam’s of the world. Helping them slow down and listen. Plus this week I have a reader challenge, read on to discover what adventures may come.

Education Hunt Call to Action
Education Hunt has been an amazing outlet. Sharing and discovering new resources. I need two things. Each fits into a bigger picture, which I will share at a later time. For now here’s the deal…
  • I need your problems. I think I have a decent drop on the challenges we face, but I want to be certain. What’s messing with you day? What’s your ongoing challenge? If you are willing to share, I’d love to listen. I dont pretend to have all the answers, but if I can help, I’m game to share advice specific to your challenge. Bottom line, I want to hear from my readers. Email your problems to
  • I want to host guest writers. There is something to be said about sharing your thoughts and ideas with colleagues. Education Hunt now has a reader base that spans the globe. Minus Antartica, we’re on each continent.  If you would like to pitch an idea or guest post for Education Hunt, I need your help. Maybe you don’t have an idea to pitch. It’s cool, I can iron out the wrinkles if you want to get involved. Drop me a line on Twitter or at
