Golf On The Mind

June 29 · Issue #7 · View online

Weekly roundup of news from the golf world.

Congrats to Billy Hurley III for his win last week. Looked pretty dominating out there. Tons of storylines from that tournament, Hurley’s win after considering retirement, Vijay and Ernie turning back the clock and contending again, and newly minted professional Jon Rahm being a top the leaderboard in just his first event as a professional.
This week we move to Akron, which is only ok because that’s where Firestone Golf Club is! Get ready for a classic tree lined course design, and a top field of players from the US, and a decent amount from Europe as well.
