Latest from Going Green Together
Even over the Easter break, climate action never stops! From starting the recruitment process for a Going Green Together Coordinator, to looking at what processes we can put in place to make tracking our carbon emissions easier going forward, we’ve been busy over the start of the new financial year.
Last Wednesday, we presented the Going Green Together campaign at the ‘So we think we’re resilient?’ event down in Cornwall (albeit virtually). It was great to share what we’ve been doing with the group and we’re looking forward to seeing how we can work together and collaborate to build the climate action movement within the VCSE sector, not just regionally, but also nationally.
If you have any climate or general VCSE events coming up and you’d like us to come along to give a short presentation about the Going Green Together campaign, drop us an email at hello@goinggreentogether.org.
Sharing is caring (for the planet)
Have you:
  • stuck up a sign to remind team members to turn the lights off?
  • installed some solar panels on your building?
  • bought some plants to green the office?
No matter how big or small your climate action is, we want to hear from you and share what you’ve been getting up to.
The climate crisis is so big, it can feel like whatever you’re doing just isn’t good enough; but we need to remember to celebrate even the smallest of wins!
If you start small, you’re more likely to stick with it and not overwhelm yourself. There will be an incremental and sustained change towards more climate action.
If you care about the planet, share what you’ve been doing to inspire others to start on their journey towards net zero so we can all go green together.
