The spectacle of burning torches against the night sky returns to the West End this autumn. The St Andrew’s Day Torchlight Parade has new organisers and promises fun for all the family. Find out where it starts and where it ends, and how you can take part with the family.

A Glasgow curry institution is reopening after a £150,000 refurbishment. The Little Curry House on Byres Road will welcome customers again for sit-in today (September 30). And owner Jasdeep Singh is offering a new tapas-style menu at the revamped diner. Read the full story here.
