Unbundling Reddit
The first time the
concept of unbundling was published online was in 2010 by Andrew Parker (check out that old Airbnb logo 😂). The pre-phase before a service will be unbundled is identifying these different verticals. I would argue that it’s a good source of inspiration when you’re either looking into diversifying your own product range and/or when you want to start up a business. What the different verticals that make up a Reddit have in common is that they have a proven target audience, ranging into the thousands and thousands of users. So the argument that you don’t know where your target audience is at, is void.
If this is the first time you’ve heard about unbundling, no worries, please check out these different resources to learn about it.
