Good morning,
Our HousingAnywhere Senior UX designer
Shabbir on Sketch vs Figma, Stanford now teaches Growth Marketing, B2B growth loops by CPO of Eventbrite Casey Winters and so many vacancies. This is your weekly GrowthPulse.
Stanford on growth
There are not many suppliers in the field where you can learn how to become better at growth. The best supplier in my opinion is a job, because there’s nothing that’s more real an actual dataset, product and team. Of course there could be reasons for one to not apply yet, because of lacking experience. What to do then?
For starters there’s GoPractice.io, a simulator that involves all of the above. Over the past couple of months I’ve been sharing quite some of GoPractice’s blog articles on product metrics and retention. What’s cool is that Sean Ellis recently joined them to improve the Simulator.
Something else I found out last week is that Stanford is beginning with a growth marketing course. This is what make it stand out to me, check out their
syllabus and the guest speakers that will drop by for some real-world experience stories hahah. Just a few of the guest speakers in that course:
- SVP of Commerce @ Buzzfeed
- Head of SEO @ SurveyMonkey
- VP Growth Marketing @ Postmates
- CPO @ Eventbrite
And the latter, the CPO @ Eventbrite Casey Winters, is well represented in todays newsletter. His knowledge of growth and product is superior. He’s teaching at Reforge, works at Eventbrite, but also worked for Pinterest and Grubhub.
As for following the course at Stanford, it’s open to anyone both national as international, it will be recorded if US time will crush you and will only costs you $545.
