What type of experiment will you run?
Every time you come up with an experiment to run or a value proposition to validate, you have to determine how to test it. Now you might always opt for an AB test, but there’s more.
Imagine you lack the bandwidth to run a significant AB test. Or getting quantitative data is one step too far, you are still shaping your value proposition, hence you’d opt for a more qualitative approach. Then how would you go about this? For some experiments it’s clear from the get go how you want to validate it. For other experiments there are multiple solutions to get an answer to your hypothesis.
This is when I always check out this particular chapter
of The Real Startup Book
, my reference book for everything from the hypothesis to the experiment and the analysis. The book is written by a group of 50 lean experts based on their experience in the field. I hope you find it just as useful as I do.
Also in this digest
A cool tool surfaced on Product Hunt earlier this week. A Chrome extension that shows you the Google Trend of any keyword as your first search result. I expect that by having this one installed I fuel serendipity and put myself in the scenario where I can stumble upon trends by accident 😄. Reforge has a new course
on monetization and pricing strategies, therefore they started sharing more and more insights to promote the course. Expect more in-dept reads by them in the upcoming weeks.
