Seasonally relevant feelings to you and your'n! I hope you have all secured the appropriate sacrifices for your festive divinity of choice. Whether you make your devotions to our Lord and Savior Booty Ghost, or the great and terrible Sandy Claws, or even number yourself amongst those faithful souls who surrender themselves to the holiday table of the Pie That Eats, you are welcome to bring a wriggling dish over and sit with us.
This will be the last newsletter for this year; we’re taking a little break next week to vigorously self-flagellate and rub butter on our joints as our gods demand. At such times, one feels impelled to review and assess. At such times, too, one can get away with presenting such a review as if it were content, thus storing up new and original work for the lean end of the winter to come.
So let nostalgia sweep away that nagging little voice that says, “Didn’t I just see this like… two weeks ago?” You didn’t! This is an entirely new thing, somewhat like that other thing that you liked, but now seasoned with a year’s perspective and aged in an oak cask to a dry, delicate finish.
