Hi Friends-  We are just sweltering in Houston as we usually are in August but this summer has been one for the record books and I’m hearing it’s like that in many parts of the world.  But the hot weather won’t stop us from getting to our shows and we’re looking forward to getting back on the road after a few days off. Our first shows are in Hopewell, VA at the Beacon Theater on August 13th and 14th, then we travel to Nashville for the Grand Ole Opry on August 16th , to Reidsville, NC at the Reidsville Showcase Theater on Friday, August 19th and on Saturday, August 20th we’ll be at the Liberty Showcase Theater in Liberty, NC. 

     I’m assured all these venues have wonderful air conditioning so come join us for the music and enjoy the cool air.  We’ll see you soon, Gene
