By G. E. Gallas • Issue #4 • View online
Welcome to issue №4 of G. E. Gallas’s newsletter! Here, I’ll keep you up to date on everything going on in my world. Don’t worry, I won’t bother you more than once a month at most. Thank you so much for all your support!

Little Free Libraries
I had some slightly damaged copies of The Plague and Doctor Caim. So I decided to donate them to a few Little Free Libraries ( in my area! I left them in Little Free Libraries all over Kentlands in Gaithersburg, Maryland if anyone wanted to try to get a copy. I wonder who will end up taking Doctor Caim home with them?
If you can’t pick one up, you can always order The Plague and Doctor Caim via Cast Iron Books!

Comic Book Squares
2) I was recently interviewed by Anthony Andujar Jr for The Fanboy Factor, so that should be up online sometime soon.
Storycomic Interview
I was recently interviewed by Barney Smith of Storycomic.
[Storycomic] is your home for stories about comics or comic-based stories. We have a great time talking with storytellers and artists. We focus on all genres of prose, children’s books, graphic novels, illustrations, and the people behind these works that bring joy and inquiry.

SPX (Small Press Expo) 2022
September 17th & 18th in Bethesda, Maryland
I will be exhibiting my work at SPX this September! I was lucky enough to procure a space via D.C. Conspiracy, The Capital Area Comics Creators Collective. I’ll have a half table, Saturday only, and will be selling copies of The Plague and Doctor Caim and The Poet and the Flea (Volume 1), plus a few zines and art prints. More information to come!

This past November, I contributed an illustration to VALA, the Journal of the Blake Society, for an article entitled “On The Book of Thel and Pandemic Prophecies” by Jodie Marley. I thought I’d share it here in case you missed it before. VALA #1 and #2 are available to download for free.

Webcomic Recommendations
I’d like to take this opportunity to help promote a fellow comic book creator: James Francis. James is a UK-based illustrator and creator of a webcomic entitled Moonlighter, about a hotel manager turned gentleman thief. Moonlighter hasn’t been updated in quite a while, but there are over 20 episodes. It’s so beautifully drawn, it’s definitely worth checking out!
