Hello, friends!

I’m in the renovated airport of Phnom Penh and some airport dwellers are doing what I consider the worst mistake of travelling: they have a fully inflated neck pillow around their neck. UGH.

So here’s what this weekly digest is going to give you:

Here’s what this is *not* going to be. I’m no influencer so these are just my opinions. No one is paying me to promote products (but hey I won’t say no to free tea if anyone offers). I don’t have a goal with this digest other than to connect with my friends on a regular basis.

This is a great book to start the year with. No self-help porn, just straight forward life advice. It’s super funny too, if you don’t mind the coarse language.

Travel hack* of the week

Long haul flight ahead? Do you just want to pop a sleeping pill and sleep? Great. If you want to eat before everyone else, choose a special meal. It can be vegetarian - or halal is usually pretty good too. You’ll be served before everyone else.
