Hello!
I hope you’re mentallly ready for the week that’s beginning today. Whether you’re single and ready to mingle or in a relationship, we can’t deny Feb 14th brings a lot of pressure to all of us. Yeah… Valentine’s Day.
After spending an incredible week in #IncredibleIndia I honestly feel that “love is all around me” - especially in all the parathas and pakoras that life has thrown my way.
Fun fact about my trip: one of my travel companions arrived in Delhi with one neck pillow, one down pillow, two trolleys and a backpack. You can imagine my shock! @Asim, if you’re reading this, consider yourself invited to write a guest paragraph next week to defend your choice ;)
Now, on to the useful part. I promise, nothing is heart shaped or hot pink.

A really good book about relationships is All The Single Ladies (http://www.amazon.in/All-Single-Ladies-Unmarried-Independent/dp/1476716560). It’s crazy to read the dark secrets of such a normal and potentially beautiful event.
Modern Romance by Aziz Ansari (https://www.amazon.com/Modern-Romance-Aziz-Ansari/dp/0143109251) also deserves a mention, mostly because of the many Tinder references. Lol. It’s honest, funny, interesting and all our moms should read it and maybe stop asking why are we not married yet.
Fuck Yes or No (https://markmanson.net/fuck-yes) is a quick and oh-so-true article about dating. It boils down to one very simple truth. If you’re not incredibly excited about someone, then you should not be with that person. Easy, huh?
I’m not an authority on Valentine’s Day gifts so I’ll skip the product recommendations this week.
Sending love to all of you around the world from my very sunny spot in Mumbai airport. ☀️❤️
G
