The High Five goes out every Friday morning - just in time to jump start your weekend. I'm handpicking five things I think you'll enjoy discovering, listening to, or thinking about as you head out to do great things.

Paul Doesn’t Do Boundaries

Bella, Purple Throne
Bella, Purple Throne
This isn’t my dog but she’s a frequent guest. Rosie is not always amused by her highfalutin ways but Bella’s going to do Bella. There’s a lesson here for all of us. To be more precise, because I’m not interested in Paul coming to my house and plopping down on my brand new beanbag, the lesson is to follow your instincts. (Paul doesn’t do boundaries and, if he ever runs for office, we’ll need to restart our uncomfortable national conversation on groping (and inappropriate tickling).) Paul gets upset with me when I don’t publish on Fridays. Please let me know if you get upset too.
Here are some links I’ve been checking out this week in my not-so-free-time. If you’re sometimes prone to worrying then you’ll enjoy the Calvino piece I think. If you’re not a worrier you should worry that may have had a stroke. I love the website Dezeen and I love cool houses so that’s why I’m linking you to Wyoming houses. I don’t have a Wyoming house and I’ve no plans for one, but, if I did, I’d be fine with one of these beauties. The checking account article is interesting to me just because I think the financial industry is poised for even more technological disruption. And who loves a big bank? It’s nearly Halloween, so I’m giving you Walken reading The Raven. Finally the ukulele link is just pure fun.
Get out there and do big things, kids.
